Introduction
You can choose between gasoline, diesel or gas.

  1. Gasoline is mostly used when the generating set has to run less than 3 hours a day.
  2. Diesel is mostly used when the set has to run more than 3 hours a day. These generating sets are heavier because of higher pressures. A high pressure heats the air, which causes diesel to ignite spontaneously.
  3. Gas is used in certain countries because of its low price. There are two kinds of gas you can use: propane and natural gas. There are, however, a few disadvantages associated with gas generating sets: a 10% loss of power and more wear because of the dry fuel. The advantage is that the fuel is cheap.

Advantages and disadvantages
There are many differences between the fuels, that is why we listed all the advantages and disadvantages.
